Spain! Day 11: Catalonia

There is very little to post today as we were disappointed with the towns we stopped in. There was not much to do or see in any of them. Our first town, La Bisbal d'Empordà, is known for its ceramics and antiques. If you go in one ceramic store there, you've been in all of them. A few of the antique stores were nice but mostly large overpriced objects. We didn't find anything exciting at them regardless of size and price.

A few towns over we stopped in Banyoles to have lunch because it looked like it'd be large enough to walk around for an hour. Other than the cathedral and historic wall there wasn't anything to see there either. The one museum was closed for renovations and all the shops were closed for siesta.

It wasn't a waste of a day by any means, but we see anything worth taking a picture of. We decided to skip the other small towns on the list and head back to Barcelona as there's plenty to do there. Tomorrow is the big antique market!
